Mümin Dede's second wife, a sour-tempered, loveless woman. She takes every opportunity to make the child feel that she is not his real mother. With her constant nagging and anger at home, she corners Mümin Dede completely. She selfishly ignores Orozkul's bullying and the oppression of his daughter just to keep the household order (Mümin working and bringing in money) running.
She lost five children in the past and her only surviving son in the war. After losing her first husband in a blizzard, she settled for Mümin. The heavy sorrow she endured hardened her heart and completely dried up her springs of love and affection.
