Definition of Service
BeinStory offers its users digital book reading, interaction with AI-powered characters, and a personalized reading experience. By using the service, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.
Account and Security
- Accurate and up-to-date information must be provided during account creation.
- You are responsible for your account security (password, login credentials).
- Notify us immediately upon detecting unauthorized access.
- Each user may create only one account; duplication is prohibited.
Usage Rules
- You may use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
- Do not reproduce or share copyrighted content without authorization.
- Misusing the platform, distributing harmful content, or harassing other users is prohibited.
- Content collection via automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) is prohibited.
Subscription and Payments
- Subscription plans are offered on a monthly or yearly basis; prices are specified within the application.
- Payments may be set to auto-renew via the selected store (App Store / Google Play).
- Cancellation requests must be made before the end of the current period; cancellation becomes effective in the following period.
- Due to the nature of digital services, our refund policy is subject to the rules of the relevant store.
Voice calls
Voice calls with characters are provided in exchange for talk time (minutes).
- Minutes are a consumable digital product. Gift minutes included with your subscription and minute packs you purchase separately behave differently: gift minutes are granted with your subscription period, expire at the end of that period and do not carry over; purchased minutes do not expire and remain until used.
- Consumption is measured by call duration. The time consumed is the actual time elapsed between the start and the end of the call, regardless of who spoke and for how long. If the connection drops or the app is closed, the call is ended and the time elapsed until that moment is deducted.
- Usage limits. To keep the service available and costs predictable, we may limit the duration of a single call, the total duration per day, and the number of calls that can be started within a given period. These limits may be updated without prior notice; fair use applies.
- Misuse. Starting calls with automated tools, reselling the service, attempting to place the system under load, or otherwise trying to circumvent the limits may result in your access to voice calls being restricted or your account suspended.
- Refunds. For in-app purchases, payment is processed by the App Store or Google Play; refund requests are governed by, and assessed under, that store's own policy. Where a purchase is refunded or revoked by the store, the corresponding minutes may be deducted from your account.
- Availability. Voice calls rely on third-party infrastructure and AI providers. The feature may be temporarily unavailable during outages at those providers; in such cases your unused minutes remain in your account.
If you would rather not use voice calls, simply do not start one — text chat works independently of this feature.
Limitation of Liability
BeinStory does not guarantee the accuracy of content generated by artificial intelligence. The service is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect damages. These conditions are subject to Turkish law.
