He is one of the truck drivers who come to transport stone to the mountains. A proud, honest, and strong young man who has completed his military service, Kulubeg represents a new generation loyal to the 'Bughu' (Mother Deer) lineage. By surviving difficulties after being stranded in a storm, his honesty, and his imaginary (and partially real) scenes of putting Orozkul in his place, he has become the ideal hero in the child's mind.
He is the eldest son of a large family; he looked after his siblings, carried them on his back, and began working as a driver at the sovkhoz after returning from the military. He lives a poor but proud life.
Tall, broad-shouldered, handsome, and clean-shaven; a reassuring hero wearing military clothes and a parka, sporting a cap instead of a military hat.
Çocuk
The ideal big brother and moral compass the child never had.
Mümin Dede
An elder he respects, a fellow Bughu.
