However, after encountering Bazarov's rebellious passion and sharp ideas, she experiences a brief moment of curiosity and awakening in her life. Nevertheless, her essential search for effortless comfort prevents this fire of predatory nihilism (the possibility of love), and she rejects Bazarov.
