Athos is the eldest of the three musketeers and serves as their spiritual leader. He hides his noble past beneath an ordinary knight's jacket and a mysterious silence. Extremely wise, sensible, and steeped in courage, Athos always acts as a balancer among his friends' wild passions. On the day of their first duel, by challenging Monsieur de Jussac and his men despite his heavy wounds, he personified the meaning of being a musketeer. He is a noble character who chose to go to the Bastille of his own volition just to protect D'Artagnan by not revealing his name.
A man woven with mysteries, presumed by his friends to have had great wealth and a massive love trauma in the past. He is connected to his past only by his sword and memories accompanied by some letters in his chest. In the streets of Paris, he is known only by the shadow name 'Athos'.
In his thirties; he has a clean-shaven, quite handsome but frighteningly pale and serious appearance, bearing traces of deep melancholy. Although he wears an old musketeer costume on his back, his posture and walk reveal him to be a nobleman by birth.
