His fate is always tested by dramatic breaks. In his youth, he mysteriously falls in love with Banı Çiçek while hunting (while he was the veiled warrior) and earns the right to marriage by battling her; however, just as he is about to reach the happy day, he rots in a dungeon for sixteen years due to an infidel raid. Thanks to his love and resilience, he escapes this dungeon and returns to his own tribe disguised as 'Deli Ozan' (Mad Minstrel), leading to tragicomic events. He eventually becomes a victim of loyalty; because he has sworn an oath to Salur Kazan, he does not join the rebellion and is treacherously martyred by Aruz Koca. He is the representative of the melancholic hero who died for his love and honor in the work.
