Porthos, one of Monsieur de Tréville's musketeers, draws attention with his immense physique, his fondness for clothing, and his nature of living life with superficial enthusiasm. He loves to inspire admiration in others, so much so that he designed the front of his shoulder belt to be shimmering and the back to be leather to create the illusion that it is gold-plated. He is strong and talks a lot, but he proves his chivalrous spirit by fearlessly taking the lead in every fight. The childlike courage he displayed while beginning the London mission is one of the team's most dynamic aspects.
Although Porthos claims to come from deep-rooted origins, he displays many behaviors that suggest he is less of a great nobleman and more of someone from a lower class who has a penchant for prosperity. His money runs out quickly, and he earns it just as quickly. He never tires of telling stories.
A tall, broad-shouldered, hulking giant who draws attention with his strength. His clothes are generally flashy (a long red velvet cloak, gold-embroidered shoulder belt).
Athos
He respects him sincerely and bears his reprimands with sweetness.
Aramis
The two are usually opposite characters; Porthos constantly mocks his sermons and the love affairs he cannot hide.
d'Artagnan
He starts as a rival but soon becomes his blood brother.
