George Westinghouse

He is the only person with the vision and financial power to challenge Edison's DC empire. By purchasing Tesla's motor patents at a high price, he translated Tesla's theories into industrial practice and succeeded in epic projects like the Chicago World's Fair. In contrast, during major financial disputes, he was forced to ask Tesla to waive his massive royalty rights due to investor pressure.
Nikola Tesla
He was born in 1856 in the town of Smiljan, Croatia, as the son of a Serbian Orthodox priest. With his extraordinary visualization ability, eidetic (photographic) memory, and an endless desire to work, he became one of the greatest geniuses of his era. After designing the polyphase alternating current motor in his mind in Europe, he emigrates to America. After working for Edison for a short time, he leaves, believing he has been deceived, and establishes his own laboratory. With Westinghouse's help, he manages to tame Niagara Falls by commercializing alternating current on a massive scale. However, his vision is always beyond the existing world (worldwide free energy and wireless communication). Due to his weak commercial acumen, hypersensitive psychology, obsessions, and stubbornness, most of his revolutionary ideas are attributed to others, and in the end, he bids farewell to life as a poor, marginalized genius.
Thomas Edison
He is the most famous inventor, patent holder, and businessman of the era worldwide. He is the creator of practical inventions and the father of the Direct Current (DC) system. He puts commerce before designs. His paths crossed with Tesla in 1884, but he did not take Tesla's AC system theory and claims seriously. When Tesla left the company and soon put him at risk of a massive market share loss, Edison used all his lobbying power, money, and fame to prove that Alternating Current was lethal (electric execution, etc.).
